Chef Automate Branding

Style Guide

Chef Automate Logo

The Chef Automate brand is expressed in a clean and flexible Chef branded wordmark.

Logo Safe Zone

The logo must always maintain a standard distance and proportion from one component to another. Please refer to the below dimensions when constructing the logo.

Logo Usage

The logo consists of the conjuction of the three main Chef colors: orange, dark blue, and white. On a light background, the CHEF text will be dark blue and the AUTOMATE text will be orange. On a dark background, the CHEF text will be white and the AUTOMATE text will be orange. The layout has two layout styles (vertical and horizontal), which can be used interchanagbly.

Additional usage notes:

  • The logo should never be used in a communication title, headline, or sentence.
  • The logo must not be redrawn or modi ed in any way.

On Backgrounds and Photography

When positioning the logo on a colored background, the value of the background determines if the logo should appear in color or white. The logo may be used on photography, but it must be placed at an area of high contrast to the background. Place the logo in the most visually clear area of the photograph.

Logo Usage: What Not To Do

These are examples of what not to do with the Chef Automate logo, under pain of death.

The logo should not:

  • Be stretched or manipulated in any way
  • Colors should never be changed
  • Be placed on a busy background
  • Add a mark
  • Have the fonts altered or changed
